Job summary

Vocative in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join the IT team and drive technology-led change. Hybrid role in Somerset with 2–3 days on site, coordinating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into precise specifications.

You will lead process mapping, write user stories, and ensure high-quality outcomes across delivery teams and third-party providers.

Qualifications

• Proven IT software project implementations experience.
• Background in fast-paced change delivery environments.
• Strong business process analysis and current/future state mapping.
• Ability to produce high-quality written specifications and user stories.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organisation.
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders, including senior sponsors.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage workload.
• Experience in matrix team environments and project settings.
• Credentials: BCS BA Foundation or Diploma, PMI-PBA.
• Exposure to PRINCE2, Waterfall or Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technology programme plan and strategic direction.
• Lead process mapping and requirements gathering with business experts.
• Produce clear specifications covering data needs and user stories.
• Resolve design issues with project teams and end users.
• Ensure solutions deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Liaise with third-party providers to clarify requirements.
• Propose new ways of working and raise BA standards.
• Provide peer coaching and QA support for junior team members.
