Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead bids into MOD market clients. You will own the Bid Management Plan, coordinate with technical experts and business development, and ensure compliance with Shipley processes while driving winning strategies.

You will work with account teams to craft win themes, manage bid budgets, and facilitate stakeholder analyses, with flexible and remote options and a strong emphasis on collaboration and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering bids from inception to interviews and lessons learnt.
• Structured bid processes (Shipley) to produce high‑quality submissions.
• Excellent communication across levels and forums.
• Ability to use MS Project, CRM and Office365 effectively.
• Experience liaising with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Own the Bid Management Plan and bid budget.
• Plan and schedule all required meetings and workshops.
• Develop the overall Bid Plan in collaboration with the Bid Director.
• Engage with Client Directors to ensure client intelligence is included.
• Build the bid team across the business and coordinate reviews.
• Oversee the production of the commercial and pricing model.
