Job summary

Balance Education Limited is recruiting a Business Development Manager to expand the portfolio of Adult Technical Training. The role is home based with regional travel to meet clients and close new business.

You will identify employer opportunities, develop proposals, manage relationships, and drive revenue across funded and commercial training solutions. A strong track record in BD, travel readiness, and a full driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Business Development role with targets
• 1+ years BD in training sector / selling commercial training
• Proven track record of delivering results through relationships with other companies
• Experience of travel to meet clients and attend networking events
• Experience presenting ideas consultatively at executive level
• Proven ability to develop relationships, influence and negotiate with employers
• Full valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue and identify strategies for future opportunities
• Identify, manage and win key opportunities with large clients
• Consult with clients on training needs analysis
• Lead proposal writing and presentation production
• Maintain frequent contact with key targets at all levels
• Maintain sales plans and pipeline for each opportunity
• Carry out reporting to keep management informed
