Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers in London to build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code, training AI systems to think like real developers. You’ll write, review, and explain high‑quality code across languages, with flexible, remote hours.

Work asynchronously on bold AI projects, design prompts, identify bugs and performance issues, and provide structured feedback to help AI coding assistants perform reliably at scale. A CS degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript).
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Ability to read, write, and reason about code with clarity.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across multiple languages.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and efficiency.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured feedback explaining why code works or not.
• Design prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank AI-generated solutions by engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
