Job summary

SRG, a leading personal care ingredients distributor, is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales across the UK. This remote role offers occasional on-site visits in the South West and a generous benefits package with a quarterly bonus and strong pension.

You will build and nurture relationships with personal care brands and manufacturers, travel about one-third of the time, and promote an innovative portfolio of sustainable active ingredients.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Chemistry, Biology or related field.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Willing to travel ~1/3 of the time across the UK.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships to grow account spend.
• Travel approximately one third of your time across the UK to client sites.
• Promote the product portfolio of innovative, sustainable active ingredients.
• Generate leads to identify new potential customers in your region.
• Identify, contact and develop new business using a variety of methods.
• Maintain and update the database to build a customer pool.
• Keep abreast of product development and trends in the personal care industry.
