Job summary

Chef Results Limited is seeking Relief Chefs to cover Hotels, Gastro Pubs, Restaurants and Care Homes in Thirsk and surrounding areas, with immediate start.

Chefs may operate from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on property requirements, and must be able to work in fast-paced kitchens with fresh produce. DBS checks are preferred or willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Chefs with experience up to Sous Chef level and strong cooking skills.
• DBS checks or willingness to obtain one.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK per immigration rules.

Responsibilities

Job description

Hotels, Gastro Pubs, Restaurants and Care Homes in Thirsk and the surrounding areas are seeking Relief Chefs.

Immediate start

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirement of the property you will be working at.

We have a number of care home contracts in this region which require Relief Chefs who haveDBS(Disclosure and Barring Service) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year round work available with these.

Requirements

Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast paced kitchens with all fresh produce. Chefs with DBS checks or are willing to get one are in high demand.

It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
