Job summary

Chef Results Limited is recruiting Relief Chefs for temporary assignments around Stoke on Trent. You’ll be flexible, able to move between properties and kitchen levels from Chef de Partie up to Head Chef, depending on the setting.

Assignments are paid by the hour and DBS checks are required for many partner care homes. Candidates should be able to start quickly and adapt to varying menus and fresh produce in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have worked to at least Chef de Partie level with strong cooking skills.
• Ability to jump on any section and work in fast-paced kitchens with fresh produce.
• Must have DBS checks or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Flexible chefs able to work across a range of properties and positions from Chef de Partie to Head Chef.
• Relief cover for care homes in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK under the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996.

Relief Chef get paid for every hour worked.

Chef Results have temporary assignments for Chefs looking for relief work in Stoke on Trent and the surrounding areas.

Role:

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirement of the property you will be working at.

We have a number of care home contracts in this region which require Relief Chefs who have DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is regular work available with a number of the homes.

Requirements:

Chefs who have worked to at least Chef de Partie level with excellent all round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast paced kitchens with all fresh produce. Chefs with DBS checks or are willing to get one are also required.

It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
