Job summary

Chef Results Limited is actively seeking Relief Chefs to support care homes in Peterborough and surrounding areas. You will join a flexible roster with daytime hours, working from Chef de Partie up to Head Chef level depending on the property and demand.

Applicants must have a DBS completed in the last year and be comfortable with IDDSI dietary requirements. Access to your own transport is essential, and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• DBS checks within the last year and knowledge of IDDSI and dietary requirements.
• Experience at least at Sous Chef level and able to jump on any section in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Relief Chefs to cover a variety of care home properties across Peterborough.
• Prepare meals across sections and adapt to different dietary requirements and recipes.
• Work in fast-paced kitchens using fresh produce and maintain high standards.

Care homes in Peterborough and surrounding areas are seeking Relief Chefs.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties, sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirements of the property you will be working at.

We have a number of care home contracts in this region which require Relief Chefs who have DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year-round work available with these.

• Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all-round cooking skills, capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast-paced kitchens with fresh produce
• Chefs with DBS checks that have been done in the last year and have a knowledge of IDDSI and dietary requirements
• It is essential that you have access to your own transport
