Chef Results Limited is recruiting Relief Chefs for care homes in Chester and surrounding areas. Flexible chefs are needed to cover multiple properties, from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on the assignment.

Applicants must have or be willing to obtain a DBS check and a current Food Safety Certificate. Eligibility to live and work in the UK is required. Transport is not essential but advantageous; work is available year‑round in fast-paced kitchens with fresh produce.

Job description

Care Homes in Chester and the surrounding areas are seeking Relief Chefs.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirement of the property you will be working at.

Our care home contracts require Temp Chefs to have DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year round work available with these.

Requirements

Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast paced kitchens with all fresh produce. All chefs must have or be willing to apply for a DBS, and a current Food Safety Certificate.

It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
