Job summary

Chef Results Limited is seeking Relief Chefs to cover care home kitchens around the Bridport area in Dorset. Roles range from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on current needs. DBS checks are required to work across multiple care homes with flexible day-time hours.

Applicants should have experience at Sous Chef level or higher, with the ability to work quickly and safely with fresh produce. Transport is not essential but advantageous; eligibility to live and work in the UK is

Job description

Care Homes around the Bridport area of Dorset are seeking Relief Chefs.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirement of the property you will be working at.

We have a number of care home contracts in this region which require Relief Chefs who have DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year round work available with these.

Requirements

Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast paced kitchens with all fresh produce. Chefs with DBS checks that have been done in the last year and preferably have experience of working in care homes.

It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
