Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with TSS, is recruiting Relief Security Officers for sites across Cornwall. £16-£17 per hour on site, with training and development provided. This role suits both experienced security personnel and newcomers seeking entry into the industry.

You’ll work across multiple locations, ensuring a visible security presence, safety for customers and staff, and adherence to site procedures. Staffline offers welfare checks and ongoing support as part of a structured development

Qualifications

• You’re aged 18 or over.
• Enjoy working with people and building trust.
• Communicate clearly and confidently.
• Stay calm under pressure.
• Reliable and willing to learn.
• Comfortable using digital systems and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible security presence on site.
• Help keep customers, colleagues and visitors safe.
• Support loss prevention and reduce incidents.
• Monitor and report incidents using digital systems.
• Respond calmly and professionally to any issues.
• Follow site procedures, including fire and evacuation processes.
• Keep the security area clean and organized.
• Deliver a friendly, professional service every shift.
• Carry out searches in line with site requirements.

Pay Rate: £16-£17 per hour (TSS operates on site-based rates)

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing a visible security presence on site
• Helping keep customers, colleagues and visitors safe
• Supporting loss prevention and reducing incidents
• Monitoring and reporting incidents using digital systems
• Responding calmly and professionally to any issues
• Following site procedures, including fire and evacuation processes
• Keeping the security area clean and organised
• Delivering a friendly, professional service every shift
• Carrying out searches in line with site requirements
