Carlisle Support Services is seeking Relief Retail Security officers to cover holidays and sickness across locations, with shifts starting early morning to late evening. Training is provided, and roles offer flexible hours to suit your availability around travel needs.

Applicants should hold an SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence and be 18+, with a track record of reliability and professionalism. Role includes access to vehicle for broader coverage in the Crewe area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the UK.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence.
• 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable and professional in conduct.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a reassuring presence.
• Deliver a proactive security presence and deterrence.
• Handle incidents with effective control and de-escalation.
• Control access and conduct security patrols.
• Engage with the public in a proactive, professional manner.
• Be aware of hazards and respond appropriately.
• Provide guidance and act as first point of contact for customers.
• Follow safety and security processes and procedures.
• Work as part of a team and build strong working relationships.
