Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking relief officers to cover holidays and sickness across various locations, with full training provided. The role includes varying shifts (6am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, sometimes midnight) and the option to work as a full-time role or to supplement main income. Chester location with access to own vehicle preferred.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older – legal requirement to work in front-line licensable activity.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence is required.
• 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Experience in security or customer-facing roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a proactive security presence.
• Control access and egress; conduct security patrols to deter crime.
• Engage with the public in a professional and helpful manner.
• Follow safety and security procedures and work as part of a team.
