Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer in Wakefield. You will be visible on the shop floor, deter crime, respond to incidents, and complete detailed incident reports while collaborating with local authorities.

You must hold a valid SIA licence, with training provided if needed. The job requires a five-year checkable history and right-to-work documents for interview readiness.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Previous retail security experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Five-year checkable work or education history is required.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the shop floor and deterring crime.
• Assessing vulnerabilities and minimising risk at the location.
• Liaising with management and local authorities as needed.
• Managing vulnerable persons with empathy and discretion.
• Carrying out searches in line with policy.
• Digitally reporting incidents and planning daily activity.
