Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer in the Ellesmere Port area. You will provide a visible deterrent, respond to incidents, and complete detailed incident reports while guarding in-store locations.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, a five-year checkable history, and right-to-work documentation. Training is provided, and shifts are varied with site-dependent hourly pay between £12.71 and £15.00.

Qualifications

• You must hold a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.
• Previous experience in a retail security role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• You must be able to provide a full five-year checkable work or education history.
• Applicants must bring right to work documents and a recent proof of address to the interview.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Assess vulnerabilities and work to minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy.
• Conduct colleague and contractor searches when required.
• Digitally report incidents and plan daily activity.
• Produce detailed incident reports for client and authorities.
