Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) is seeking a Retail Security Officer to deter crime and respond to incidents in Didcot stores. You will provide a visible security presence, carry out patrols and complete incident reports with local authorities.

You must hold a current SIA licence; training is provided if needed. Strong communication and calm handling of conflicts are essential for success in this relief role.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Retail security experience is an advantage but not required; full training provided.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to manage difficult situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Patrol shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Assess vulnerabilities and minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities.
• Handle searches of colleagues and contractors when required.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones.
• Provide detailed incident reports for clients and authorities.
