Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer in the Rotherham area. The role covers varied hours with an hourly rate between £12.71 and £15.00 per hour, providing a visible deterrent and safeguarding store locations.

You will perform in-store guarding, incident response, and detailed reporting, liaising with authorities when needed, and ensuring customer safety with professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Retail security experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• You must be able to provide a full five-year checkable work or education history.
• Applicants must bring right to work documents and a recent proof of address to the interview.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Respond to incidents, complete incident reports, and liaise with local authorities as required.
• Carry out guarding duties in-store and conduct colleague/contractor searches per policy.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones and produce detailed, legible reports.
