Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer for the Leeds area. The role involves providing a visible deterrent, responding to incidents, and completing detailed incident reports to support our client and local authorities.

You must hold a current SIA licence and be able to provide a five-year checkable work/education history, along with right-to-work documents and proof of address for interview.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Retail security experience is advantageous but not essential; full training provided.
• Five-year checkable work or education history is required.
• Right to work documents and a recent proof of address must be brought to interview.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling shop floor and deterring criminal activity.
• Provide visible deterrence, respond to incidents, complete incident reports.
• Collaborate with management and local authorities as needed.
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to reduce distress.
• Conduct colleague and contractor searches as required per policy.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones for daily planning.
• Produce detailed incident reports to aid client and authorities.
