Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) seeks a Relief Retail Security Officer in the Hull area. You will provide a visible deterrent, respond to incidents, and complete incident reports while patrolling the shop floor and protecting customers and staff.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, a full five-year checkable history, and the ability to present right-to-work documents and proof of address at interview. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.
• Experience in retail security is advantageous but training will be provided.
• You must be able to provide a full five-year checkable work or education history.
• Applicants must bring right to work documents and a recent proof of address to the interview.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Assess vulnerabilities and work to minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities as needed.
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy.
• Conduct colleague and contractor searches when required.
• Digitally report incidents and plan daily activity using tablets/phones.
• Produce detailed incident reports for the client and authorities.
