Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect people and property on the shop floor, deter theft and maintain a calm, positive shopping environment.

You will conduct patrols, operate CCTV, work with store management and local police partnerships, and you will be paid for every minute on shift, including lunch breaks.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training - we may be able to support you with this)
• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (essential for vetting)

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterrence of theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carry out regular store patrols
• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Work closely with store management teams
• Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Use Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
