Mitie Group plc. is looking for a confident Retail Security Officer who can bring energy, professionalism and a calm presence to the shop floor, helping to protect people, prevent loss and create a safe, positive shopping experience for customers and colleagues.

• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (this is essential for vetting)

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
