Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect customers and staff while maintaining a safe shopping environment. You will deter theft, patrol the store, and operate CCTV systems, contributing to a calm, secure experience on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences.
• Carry out regular store patrols.
• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Work closely with store management and local policing networks.
• Use Body Worn CCTV to enhance on-site safety.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
