Complete Childcare Ltd. is seeking an experienced Nursery Chef for our Lower Earley Nursery on a fixed-term 12-month contract with the possibility to go full time within the group. The role is 40 hours per week, over five days, with a salary of £27,414.40.

The position is based at Lower Earley and involves preparing meals for children under five. We offer a paid lunch break, a competitive salary based on experience, childcare discounts, attendance bonuses up to £500 annually, wellbeing

Qualifications

• Experience as Nursery Chef or in a similar childcare catering role.
• Ability to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for children under five.
• Strong hygiene and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children under five according to nursery menus.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and follow infection control procedures.
• Be aware of special dietary needs and dietary restrictions.
• Follow health and safety duties including risk assessments and daily records.
• Monitor and rotate stores and manage weekly shopping orders.
• Support other settings and transportation of meals when required.
