Job summary

The Old Windsor Day Nursery and Pre-School is seeking a reliable Nursery Chef to prepare nutritious meals for children in a safe, welcoming kitchen. You will cook daily meals, ensuring they are age-appropriate, balanced and hygienic, while supporting diverse dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing meals in a domestic or commercial kitchen.
• Good understanding of food allergies and dietary requirements.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
• Experience working within a catering budget.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh meals daily for children.
• Cater for dietary requirements and allergies.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen in line with food hygiene regs.
• Follow food safety procedures and record hygiene checks.
• Manage stock and food orders within budget.
