N Family Club in Guildford is seeking a Flexi Chef to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for children while supporting varied shifts. You will follow nutritionist-designed recipes and ensure safe, delicious meals for all ages.

Qualifications

• Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 (Level 3 during induction if not held).
• Nursery or school commercial-sized kitchen experience.
• Experience catering for diverse dietary needs.
• Experience catering for very young children, with understanding of prep guidelines.
• Experience with Environmental Health inspections.
• Knowledge of food allergens and child nutrition; budget awareness.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh, inspiring meals for children, including weekends.
• Follow nutritionist-designed recipes to ensure vitamins and nutrients.
• Cater to dietary needs across age groups with proper guidelines.
• Know child allergies and prevent cross-contamination while meeting nutritional needs.
• Prepare daily lunch and smoothie for nursery team with dietary considerations.
• Maintain kitchen paperwork, Daily Due Diligence Diary, and Cleaning Schedule.
• Order food supplies, manage weekly ordering and stock rotation.
• Maintain a 5-star Food Hygiene rating and comply with EH regs.
• Build relationships with nursery parents.
• Mentor and guide nursery Apprentice Chefs as needed.
• Adhere to H&S policy and act as a role model for high standards.
• Ensure accurate allergy details and portion sizes during mealtime handovers.
