McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Relief Duty Manager to join their team at the prestigious Catherine Court development in Eastleigh, Hampshire.
This role offers a unique approach to care—it's better!
Base Salary: £13.56 per hour (day rate) and £11.44 per hour (sleeping night rate), plus additional pay (details below).
Hours: To be discussed with the manager, including day and night shifts.
Day shifts vary between 08:45 - 16:30 or 16:15 - 09:30.
Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00.
Relief Duty Managers sleep from 23:00 to 07:00, providing emergency support to homeowners during this period.
Support the management and smooth operation of a vibrant community of active, independent older adults, ensuring they live their best lives in elegant private apartments in a beautiful setting, with always someone available to help if needed.
You are warm, friendly, organized, and self-motivated, with experience in care or support environments and excellent care skills.
You ideally hold a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults), though relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
You are responsible for managing security, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of homeowners, and overseeing care and support teams.
You can facilitate community activities and foster community spirit within the development.
You are eager to develop your skills, lead by example, and think proactively.
You genuinely want to make a positive impact on the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
