Anchor Group Services is seeking a Relief Cleaning Operative at Port Solent Marina. This role involves outdoor cleaning tasks, operating machinery such as scrubber dryers and kerb sweepers, and handling waste across a busy shopping and leisure site.

Training will be provided, with zero-hour shifts requiring flexibility to cover as needed. The successful candidate will work outdoors in all weather, be reliable, and contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.

Formación

• Must have a practical and dependable approach with a good eye for detail.
• Comfortable with manual outdoor work in all weather.
• Willing to learn and operate cleaning and waste-handling machinery (training provided).
• Good communication skills and a proactive customer-focused approach.
• Flexible to cover shifts as required; experience in cleaning/facilities support is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain designated outdoor areas per site specifications.
• Maintain public areas to keep site tidy, safe, and welcoming for visitors.
• Empty and sort waste and recycling; dispose of materials appropriately.
• Respond to spills or hazards promptly to maintain a safe environment.
• Operate site-specific machinery including scrubber dryer, kerb sweeper, gum remover, and baling units.
• Carry out basic road cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
• Provide friendly service to customers, tenants and visitors on site.
• Comply with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times.
• Support wider site team and maintain a positive attitude.
