Anchor Group Services is seeking a Relief Cleaning Operative at Port Solent Marina, Portsmouth. This zero-hours role involves cleaning offices and public areas, operating equipment like the T300, and ensuring a clean, safe environment daily.

Qualifications

• Practical, dependable individual with a good eye for detail.
• Willingness to learn and operate cleaning machinery (training provided).

• Previous cleaning or facilities experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Full training and Health & Safety procedures provided.

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain designated areas in line with the site's cleaning specifications.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public areas, ensuring the site remains tidy, safe, and welcoming.
• Maintain the centre management office cleanliness and replenish toilet stock daily.
• Respond promptly to spills or hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Operate site-specific machinery, including the T300 scrubber dryer.
• Carry out basic cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to customers, tenants and visitors on site.
• Comply with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times.
• Support the wider site team and maintain a positive team ethic.

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Relief Cleaning Operativeto join our dedicated team at Port Solent Marina. This is a varied, practicalrole in a busy environment, supporting the smooth running and cleanliness of apopular shopping and leisure destination.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for a range of tasksincluding Cleaning of the Centre Management office, Cleaning inside ourbuilding The Trading Post, operating specialist equipment (such as a T300), andensuring internal areas are clean, safe and presentable. Full training will beprovided. As a Relief Cleaning Operative, you will be required to support the site cleaning team by being flexible and reliable to cover shifts as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleanand maintain designated areas in line with the site’s cleaningspecifications.
  
• Maintainthe cleanliness and presentation of public areas, ensuring the siteremains tidy, safe, and welcoming for all visitors.
  
• Maintainthe cleanliness of the centre management office, ensuring workspace istidy, dust free and toilet stock replenished daily
  
• Respondpromptly to spills or hazards to maintain a safe environment for visitors,tenants and staff.
  
• Operatesite-specific machinery and equipment, including our T300 scrubber dryer
  
• Carryout basic cleaning and maintenance duties as required.

• Complywith all Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times.

Requirements
