Job summary

Anchor Group Services is seeking a Relief Cleaning Operative at Port Solent Marina, Portsmouth. This zero-hours role involves cleaning offices and public areas, operating equipment like the T300, and ensuring a clean, safe environment daily.

Qualifications

• Practical, dependable individual with a good eye for detail.
• Willingness to learn and operate cleaning machinery (training provided).
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
• Flexible and able to work additional shifts when required.
• Previous cleaning or facilities experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Full training and Health & Safety procedures provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain designated areas in line with the site's cleaning specifications.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public areas, ensuring the site remains tidy, safe, and welcoming.
• Maintain the centre management office cleanliness and replenish toilet stock daily.
• Respond promptly to spills or hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Operate site-specific machinery, including the T300 scrubber dryer.
• Carry out basic cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to customers, tenants and visitors on site.
• Comply with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times.
• Support the wider site team and maintain a positive team ethic.
