Job summary

Anchor Group Services in Locks Heath is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our established team, working Sundays mornings with additional shifts during the week.

You will clean designated areas to the site specification, handle waste and support safety procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

Pay:£12.71 per hour

Location: Locks Heath Shopping Village, Locks Heath, Southampton, Hampshire, SO31 6DX

Reporting to: Contracts Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join our established team at Locks Heath Shopping Village. This position has arisen as a result of Anchor’s ongoing expansion, making it an exciting time to join our expanding team and be part of a dynamic future.

As a Cleaning Operative will be required to carry out a range of cleaningtasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. Youmust be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, havethe ability to communicate on all levels and provideflexibility to cover additional shifts, as and whenrequired.

The successful candidate must be available to work every Sunday from 8:30am–11:30am, with flexibility to cover additional shifts during the week as required.

Dutiesinclude:

• Cleaning ofdesignated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaningspecification is completed, as per the siteinstructions
• Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
• Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site and staff safety
• Following H&S and COSHH regulations
• Use of site-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
• Proactive interaction with on-site clients and customers, offering superb customer service.
