Job summary

Blue Triangle is seeking Relief Workers to join our Oban services, providing safe, supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness. You will help tenants sustain tenancy, participate in key work meetings, and support personal development within a compassionate, client-centred approach.

Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for helping people, with ideally 1 year experience with vulnerable groups; you will work under SSSC and National Care Standards guidance and must be able to

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people.
• Ideally, 1 year experience with vulnerable people or challenging behaviour (personal, voluntary or professional).
• Demonstrated commitment to care practice in line with relevant codes and standards (SSSC, National Care Standards).
• Ability to relate empathetically and respect client autonomy and choices.
• Ability to work as a lone worker.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent applications.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide safe, secure, supported accommodation for people experiencing homelessness.
• Support, monitor and evaluate case management to achieve person-centred outcomes and comply with policies and legislation.
• Maintain and update all records and documentation in line with occupancy agreements and procedures.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews in coordination with each person’s support plan.
• Provide general advocacy and advice to people supported and help them meet occupancy conditions.
