A leading financial institution is seeking a Relationship Director for its Commercial Mid-Market team in Leeds. The role focuses on managing a portfolio of commercial customers, driving sales, and providing tailored financial solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with a diploma in lending skills required. This hybrid position allows for client meetings and collaboration with colleagues, ensuring a balanced work environment.

This role involves managing and developing a portfolio of commercial customers, providing the right products and services for their financial needs. You will drive sales activity to maximize new business while maintaining strong customer relationships to enhance the customer experience. Your long-term thinking and commercial acumen will support business growth and help build lasting relationships. Your work will be split between client meetings at their premises, collaborating with colleagues in the office at least two days a week or as required, with the remainder working remotely within the region.

By delivering excellent customer service, you'll provide financial solutions tailored to customer needs, increasing loyalty and satisfaction by exceeding expectations.
You’ll also be:
A diploma in lending skills is mandatory; if you do not currently hold one, you can take the exam within six months of starting. You should also have previous experience in commercial banking. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and networking skills are advantageous, as is proven risk assessment experience with monitoring and control skills across various customer situations.
