Your new job working as a Reinsurance Client Service Advocate will be working for a privately-owned global Lloyd’s broker with offices around the UK and worldwide, headquartered in the City. The company has grown to 400 associates across 17 locations and prides itself on an entrepreneurial culture that benefits clients. Due to growth within the Reinsurance team, they are recruiting a Reinsurance Client Service Advocate to join their expanding team.
Your new role
This role involves multi-disciplinary technical processing, including broker support, processing of proportional and non-proportional accounts, excess of loss, claims, and premium processing. You will handle all classes of business, specifically international property and casualty, liaising with internal and external clients and carriers on a technical level.
Responsibilities include premium and claims reinsurance technical processing, participating in client and reinsurer meetings, debrokering, risk sign-down, maintaining account statistics, supporting client account servicing, and using electronic methods throughout the process. Additional duties include negotiating claims from notice to settlement, handling complex claims across all classes, reinsurer audits, and adjustments to meet deadlines to avoid penalties.
Candidates should work independently, manage priorities, support colleagues, and possess excellent technical knowledge of the Lloyd’s and/or company reinsurance markets.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have over 5 years of experience as a Reinsurance Technician, processing reinsurance premiums and claims. Competency in processing all risk types, understanding of management concepts, systems, and quality assurance, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office, IMR, CLASS, ECF, LORS, and preferably Salesforce and Open TWINS. Only applicants with London Market experience as a Reinsurance Premium or Claims Technician should apply.
