Job summary

Howden is offering an apprenticeship within its Broker Support & Operations team in the UK. You’ll complete an 18-month development programme designed to build your technical knowledge, professional skills and confidence from day one.

No prior insurance experience needed; you’ll be taught everything. Expect structured learning, hands-on tasks, and opportunities to contribute to client records, reports and project work while earning £28,000 per year and gaining professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have full and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Have lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years.
• Have achieved GCSE English and Maths grade C/4.
• Not already hold a qualification that significantly overlaps with this apprenticeship.
• Join an 18-month development programme with structured induction.

Responsibilities

• Begin with structured induction before joining Broker Support & Operations.
• Learn how reinsurance solutions support insurers manage risk.
• Support day-to-day tasks to help the business run smoothly.
• Assist with data checks and document updates.
• Help prepare reports showing business performance.
