Job summary

Howden is inviting applications for the Reinsurance Broker Support Apprenticeship Programme 2027 in London. Start date is September 2027 with a permanent role from day one while completing an 18-month development programme. You will work in office at least 4 days a week, living within a commutable distance, and join a Level 3 Insurance apprenticeship.

We offer £28,000 salary, generous pension, and extensive learning opportunities. No prior insurance experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4.
• Level 3 Insurance apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Learn how reinsurance solutions support insurers and manage risk.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks to keep the business running smoothly.
• Help maintain accurate client records and processing documentation changes.
• Support projects and data checks to improve how we work.
• Prepare reports on income, budgets and team results.
