Howden is hiring for a Reinsurance Broker Support Apprentice as part of our 2027 intake in London. You’ll start with a structured induction, join the Broker Support & Operations team, and gradually take on more responsibility while completing an 18-month development programme.

The role offers a permanent position from day one and a salary of £28,000. No prior insurance experience is required; we’ll teach you everything you need to know to kick start your career in reinsurance and Howden’s

Responsibilities

• Join the Broker Support & Operations team and gradually take on more responsibility.
• Learn how reinsurance solutions support insurers and manage risk.
• Support day-to-day tasks and help the business run smoothly.
• Assist with administration of policies and updating records and documentation changes.
• Contribute to projects, carry out data checks and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate across the business to deliver exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.
• Help prepare reports showing income, budgets and team results.
