Job summary

Howden invites you to join its Risk & Compliance apprenticeship, a permanent role with an 18-month development programme. You will be guided by mentors and peers while gaining practical experience across the insurance and reinsurance sectors.

No prior insurance experience is needed as Howden will teach you. Eligibility requires the right to work in the UK, three years of UK residency, GCSEs in English and Maths, and no overlapping qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Join Risk & Compliance team and gain hands-on experience supporting real projects.
• Build understanding of risk, compliance and relevant regulations in insurance/reinsurance.
• Assist with maintaining risk register and identifying potential risks or patterns.
• Collaborate with specialist teams across the business to understand regulatory impacts.
• Learn and adapt to changing regulations while developing professional skills.
