We are looking for a motivated and committed individual with an interest in inpatient rehabilitation who will be part of a supportive therapy team delivering therapy within South Bristol Community Hospital. The rehabilitation unit meets the needs of people who are unable to return home immediately after a hospital stay, as they need further rehabilitation following an acute illness/injury.
The unit consists of 30 beds at South Bristol Community Hospital, which provides a purpose-built environment where individuals who are ‘medically stable’ can receive rehabilitation assessment, along with focused therapy and support from our multidisciplinary team, to support independence before they return home.
We are looking for a Rehab Support Worker to work with the therapy team to deliver rehabilitation. You will be working with experienced health care professionals as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team who will provide support, joint working, regular supervision, appraisal, competencies, training programme, and a real commitment to professional development for you to reach your full potential.
