Join us in making a positive impact on the environment and our communities, while being valued and supported in a truly inclusive workplace.

If you want to do more, because you care, we want you on our team.

Are you passionate about delivering for our customers and the environment? This role is at the heart of ensuring we deliver our regulatory commitments and maintaining transparency and trust in how we report to Ofwat. You’ll play a key part in shaping the way we share our performance story, helping us maintain our reputation as an industry leader and evolving the business as we move to a new regulatory model.

As our Regulatory Oversight Lead, you’ll coordinate and deliver essential reports, including the Annual Performance Report, quarterly ODI forecasts, and PCD Delivery Plans. Your work will ensure that our submissions are accurate, consistent, and compliant—building confidence with regulators and stakeholders alike.

But this role is about more than reporting. You’ll help us innovate by driving automation and aligning processes and data, turning information into insight that guides strategic decisions. You’ll also be a trusted advisor across the business, sharing regulatory knowledge and helping teams understand what compliance means for them.

You’ll work closely with a wide range of colleagues—from Operations and Finance to Governance and Assurance—building strong relationships and influencing at every level. Your ability to see the big picture while managing the details will be key to success.

What you’ll be doing
  • Leading the development and delivery of regulatory submissions, ensuring they’re accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Providing insight and guidance to help shape strategies and investment decisions.
  • Driving improvements in reporting processes, including automation and integration of financial and non-financial data.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the business and engaging with regulators to stay ahead of changes.
  • Tracking performance, risks, and opportunities to keep leadership informed and ready to act.
How we work

You’ll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.

You’ll join a caring culture that collaborates to achieve, grow, and develop. Our employee engagement scores are among the highest globally in energy and utilities. That’s why, we value in-person moments to keep our culture alive but also understand the flexibility working from home can bring. So, you'll usually find us in the office, but working from home is supported, when you need it.

What we’re looking for
  • Experience managing complex programmes or regulatory submissions.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • A flexible, curious mindset with the confidence to challenge and innovate.
  • Understanding of operational, financial, and environmental aspects of the business.
  • A collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement.

Whether you possess a technical back ground (regulatory, operations, assurance skills) or a team management back ground (organisation, project management, risks/issues tracking experience), we would love to hear from you.

Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too. We welcome and celebrate diverse individuals, knowing they help us better serve our communities. We seek people who get involved, want to be part of something bigger and make a difference because they care.

How we’ll reward and care for you

It’s not just a job you’ll get here, you’ll get a career too.

We have a range of benefits that reward and recognise great work and award-winning training to ensure you reach your potential. And we’ll also help you play your part in looking after the environment and the community in which we live.
