Job summary

Thames Water seeks a Management Accountant to support the Regulatory Finance Manager, handling audit commitments, regulatory reporting, and cost allocations. Based in Reading with hybrid working, this 18-month contract supports finance transformation and interaction with senior stakeholders.

You will work on IFRS and tax reporting, ensure accurate financial statements, and help drive improvements in control frameworks within the division.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of IFRS and tax reporting.
• Excellent knowledge of financial statements.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regulatory Finance Manager with external audit commitments and audit-tracker management.
• Liaise with Finance teams to validate regulatory reporting numbers before publication.
• Own quarterly cost allocations review for the division and improve end-to-end process.
