Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Regulatory Information Advisor in Reading to support responses to environmental enforcement matters. You will coordinate with the Environment Agency, prepare regulatory correspondence, and ensure accurate reporting, while working with the legal team to mitigate enforcement risk.

The role offers exposure across the organisation’s environmental function and requires strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to project manage and work under your own initiative whilst prioritising workload effectively
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Strong written communication and ability to interpret permits and data
• Willingness to travel to Thames Water sites across the reading area

Responsibilities

• Respond to EA information requests within agreed deadlines via written correspondence
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information and assess mitigation actions
• Clarify facts and prepare accurate written correspondence if the basis of the request is incorrect
• Contribute to the team’s wider information and enforcement risk function
