Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Regulatory Data and Analytics Manager in the Channel Islands to own data remediation across Regulatory and Tax Reporting. You will ensure accurate, well-governed data and drive improvements in reporting integrity.

The role supports executive insight and governance across complex regulatory workstreams. You will lead end-to-end data strategies, develop dashboards with Power BI/Tableau, and provide clear insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bring strong experience in data, analytics, regulatory reporting or risk and governance roles.
• Evidence a proven track record of identifying and remediating data quality issues in complex environments.
• Apply advanced analytical capability across data interrogation, trend analysis and root cause investigation.

Responsibilities

• Set the end-to-end data and analytics strategy for external reporting.
• Develop analytical dashboards and MI that support senior decision-making.
• Translate complex data into clear insights for executive stakeholders and governance forums.
• Own identification of data anomalies, inconsistencies and trends then provide root cause analysis and remediation actions.
• Strengthen data lineage across reporting processes through review, challenge and targeted improvements.
• Establish robust data controls, validation processes and governance standards across the reporting portfolio.
• Track and report data quality metrics, issues and remediation progress to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
