Job summary

AESN Limited is seeking a Registered Support Manager in Gosport to lead a specialist Supported Living service. You will manage a dedicated team, embed Positive Behaviour Support, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with families, commissioners, and health professionals to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Strong leadership and safeguarding expertise are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Manager or Deputy Manager within a CQC-regulated Health and Social Care environment.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex mental health needs, or trauma backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of CQC fundamental standards, safeguarding procedures and PBS frameworks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and multi-agency stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership qualification (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 5) or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to deliver high-quality, personalised care.
• Manage recruitment, induction, regular supervisions, appraisals, and performance management.
• Hold overall responsibility for operational performance, quality standards, and regulatory compliance of the service.
• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, local authority contractual requirements, and organisational policies.
• Lead safeguarding investigations, incident management, risk assessment, and continuous quality improvement.
• Oversee regular service audits, quality assurance processes, and action plans.
• Embed PBS and trauma-informed approaches across daily support routines, promoting positive risk-taking.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary care with families, commissioners, social workers, health professionals, and advocates.
