Job summary

PBS4 is seeking an Assistant Enablement Manager to lead and develop teams supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs in Southampton and Hampshire. The role involves managing 24/7 shifts across days, nights, evenings, sleep-ins, and on-call periods with a 3:1 support ratio.

You will champion person-centred planning, supervision, and training while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for the people supported by PBS4.

Qualifications

• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Work 39 hours on rota directly supporting people with 3:1 staff ratio (24 hours).
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Enablement Practitioners.
• Undertake admin, supervision, probation and appraisal tasks up to 3 hours weekly off rota.
• Deliver training, oversee transitions, and support the Manager in the geographical area.
• Model good practice and collaborate with families and external agencies to improve daily living for the people supported.
