Job summary

Skycare is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a West London care home. The role requires a valid NMC PIN and experience in elder care. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, manage care plans, and work as part of a supportive team across day and night shifts.

We offer comprehensive induction, ongoing training, career progression, and a mix of full-time and part-time contracts. Sponsorship is not available; relocation may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse is desirable.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills with residents and families.
• Experience delivering nursing care to the elderly in a care-home setting.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and NMC Code.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess health problems, develop care plans, and maintain records for residents.
• Administer nursing care and medications as prescribed.
• Provide direct patient care including wound care, monitoring vital signs, and daily living activities.
• Supervise junior staff and support workers in daily tasks.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and dietitians to coordinate care.
• Ensure infection control and safety regulations are followed.
