Job summary
Skycare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our elderly care team in West London. You will provide high-quality nursing care, working with residents to support comfort and wellbeing, and you will be the named nurse coordinating care with families and the Multi-Disciplinary team.
The role requires current UK NMC PIN, compassion for the elderly, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to communicate clearly.
Qualifications
- Must be a registered nurse (current PIN number with NMC).
- Genuine desire to work with the elderly.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise other staff members competently.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Calm and suitable for high-stress situations.
- Knowledge of care processes and safeguarding standards.
- Compliant with Mental Capacity Act and DoLS guidance.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan and deliver nursing care with patient and family, as named nurse.
- Observe and engage with patients to assess needs and progress.
- Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
- Respond to changes in patient condition and needs.
- Work with MDT to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation.
