Job Overview

You will be working within a team of paediatric nurses looking after children and young people from 3 - 18 years old on the CYP ward, and outpatients care from birth. All children admitted to the ward are generally day case surgical procedures, including paediatric surgery, ENT, orthopaedics, urology and plastics. In your role you will cover pre assessment, inpatients, supporting the outpatients department and daycase diagnostics. You will be required to work shifts including occasional nights/ weekend work.   • Have the ability to fully understand each patient’s needs and provide individual attention
  • Be confident to work autonomously and liaise directly with consultants
