Job summary

Salutem Care & Education is seeking an experienced Registered Manager in Cardiff to lead a residential home for children with learning disabilities and autism. You will ensure safeguarding, regulatory compliance and high-quality, personalised care, while developing a supportive, trauma-informed culture for your team.

You will drive service improvement, manage budgets and staffing, and build strong relationships with families and multi-agency professionals to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare and leading a regulated service.
• Strong leadership and safeguarding capabilities.
• Excellent communication with families, professionals and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the home.
• Be the safeguarding lead and ensure Ofsted/regulatory compliance.
• Embed trauma-informed, child-centred practice across the service.
• Manage budgets, staffing, resources and rota systems.
• Drive continuous improvement and staff development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
