Job summary

Salutem Care & Education is seeking a Registered Manager to lead our children’s home, ensuring compassionate, compliant care and strong outcomes for young people. You will uphold safeguarding standards and work with families and professionals to support each child’s development.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, align practice with trauma-informed care, and drive service quality while maintaining regulatory excellence. DBS checks and safeguarding commitments are integral to this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a Registered Manager in children’s residential care.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the children’s home in line with Ofsted regulations and Salutem’s values.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Supervise and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee operational, financial, and quality assurance processes.
• Promote trauma-informed care and positive behaviour support.
• Build strong partnerships with families, professionals, and the local community.

Education

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve)
