Job summary

Health Recruit Network is seeking a Registered Manager for a 36-bed residential care home in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire. The role leads day-to-day operations, ensures CIW standards are met, and maintains high-quality, person-centred care for private and local authority residents.

You will recruit, support and develop the care team, oversee staffing, budgets and occupancy, and build strong relationships with families and local authorities.

Salary: £41,000 - £44,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full-Time, Permanent

An established 36-bedded residential care home in Pembroke is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the service. Supporting a mix of private and local authority residents, with current occupancy of 30, this is a strong opportunity for a driven leader to continue stabilising and improving service quality.

The Role

• Manage day-to-day operations of the residential care home
• Ensure full compliance with CIW standards
• Maintain and improve high-quality, person-centred care
• Lead, support, and develop the care team
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, and performance management
• Build effective relationships with families, local authorities, and professionals
• Manage safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints
• Monitor budgets, occupancy, and service performance

Requirements

• Experienced Registered Manager within residential or elderly care
• Strong understanding of CIW regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive service improvements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Confident in managing safeguarding and compliance
